Canadian Pacific Holiday Train Stop Success

Near, far, wherever you are, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train attracts visitors for all over the state. This years farthest visitors to the Wabasha stop were from over an hour and a half away.

This year, the attendance was so high for the Holiday Train in Wabasha, the Ambulance Service ran out of hot coco and the food shelf overflowed with donations.

Entertainment on the train this year included The Claytones and Canadian Country Music Hall of Famer, Tracey Brown.

The Wabasha-Kellogg Chamber & CVB would like to thank the Wabasha Ambulance Service for donating their time, hot coco and popcorn, Pembroke Bakery for the cookies and Paul Langmade for collecting donations for the Wabasha Food Shelf

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train visits over 150 communities and features a boxcar stage, lineup of musical talent and a contribution to the local food shelf.

Since it’s inception in 1999, the train has raised more than 6.4 million dollars and over 2.6 million pounds of food in the U.S. and Canada.
