Wabasha-Kellogg Chamber of Commerce/CVB Economic Reports Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center is a progressive, multi-disciplinary rural health care organization offering a wide range of services on two campuses in Wabasha, Minnesota. Saint Elizabeth's is licensed for 31 acute care beds, 120 skilled long-term care beds, and 44 assisted-living apartments. Our mission is to continually improve the health and well-being of all people, especially the poor, in the communities we serve. This is accomplished by living out our four core values of service, vision, presence and justice. The staff and volunteers of Saint Elizabeth's provide acute care, diagnostic, educational, emergency, home care, long-term care, outreach and specialty services in partnership with the medical staff, three regional clinics and other health care providers. Primary care physicians and providers on staff at Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center are affiliated with Wabasha Clinic-Mayo Health System. They also practice in regional clinics in Plainview, Minn., and Alma, Wis. Our consulting and courtesy medical staff represents many specialties including general surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, podiatry, radiology and urology. These physicians are affiliated with healthcare facilities located throughout the region. Saint Elizabeth's Health Care Facility St. Elizabeth's Health Care Facility Long-term care services are provided at Saint Elizabeth's Nursing Home, located on the main campus, and at Saint Elizabeth’s Health Care Center, located at 626 Shields Avenue. Skilled nursing care, rehabilitation services, recreational therapy, social services, and a variety of support programs and services are provided to residents and their families in a caring and comfortable environment. Wabasha Clinic Mayo Health System Wabasha Clinic provides a full range of quality, local healthcare services for patients of all ages. Our caring staff includes 10 family practice physicians, two surgeons, three nurse practitioners, a certified nurse-midwife, and an excellent allied health staff. Our staff provides family care at clinics in three locations: Wabasha and Plainview, Minn., and Alma, Wis. Our physicians admit and care for patients at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Wabasha. Wabasha Clinic receives regular visits from specialists from Mayo Clinic and other medical centers. Our affiliation with Mayo Health System ensures that patients receive high-quality healthcare services in the community and, when necessary, have easy access to more specialized care at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
