WHO?

The W-K Age-Friendly Collaborative comprises local organizations & individuals:

Engaged citizens, City of Kellogg, City of Wabasha, Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota, Elder Network, Great River Homes, Gundersen St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and Clinics, Hiawatha Valley Mental Health, Southeast MN Area Agency on Aging, Three Rivers Community Action, Wabasha County Public Health, Wabasha County SHIP, Wabasha Rotary, United Church of Christ, GrandPad, and Wabasha Public Library

WHAT?

Through assessment & action, we strive to make our communities more livable and better able to support people of all ages.

WHEN?

Launched in 2023, a five-year program cycle encompasses assessment, action planning, implementation, and evaluation.

WHERE?

Impacts residents of every age in Wabasha & Kellogg.

WHY?

To improve the quality of life for the very old, the very young, and everyone in between. Age-friendly communities enable residents to thrive at any age & every life stage.

HOW?

By joining the AARP Network of States and Communities, we leverage knowledge, expertise, and resources that support the work of our local collaborative.
