Tandem Flights and Eagle Soaring Adventures
Have you ever imagined what it would be like to fly like a eagle? With this gentle and exhilarating way to experience flight, you can have this dream come true. Water Hang Gliding is similar to parasailing in the way that we are towed up with a custom designed boat that has a unique pressure towing system and a long spool of rope. But unlike parasailing, you will be along side one of our certified tandem pilots and be towed to a much greater altitude and when we reach a desired height, we release from the rope and fly unrestricted. We fly free as a bird and many times we will be flying with the eagles.
Actual time of flight depends on weather and wind conditions, but typically lasts about 15 minutes. Take in the breathtaking views and experience the feeling that can only be explained as “Free and Alive”.
-Al Lindner, Lindner’s Angling Edge
Cliff Haugland has been catching big walleyes and bass on the Mississippi River and across the upper midwest for a long time. Cliff ran a guide service called “Fisher of Men” for 11 years in the 1980s, which was highlighted on many TV shows, including the In-Fishermen with Al Lindner, Tony Dean, Bob Jensen’s Fishing Iowa and Chicago’s Midwest Outdoors.
Cliff and his sons also fished the MWC Tournaments and qualified for the national championship in 2006-2007. Cliff is now semi-retired after running a successful construction business for 23 years and has decided to share his extensive fishing knowledge with others to help them enjoy the great outdoors.
Captain Cliff runs the boat. You catch the fish!
P.S. – Ask about Cliff’s “Monster Walleye Trips” to the Rainy River in Late March/Early April! 6-12 pound walleyes all day!

Whitewater Wines is a small, family run winery. The winemaker’s goal is to make great wine that people can enjoy in a beautiful rural setting. The owners, Wanda and Eric Hanlon, have been working to get the winery off the ground for several years, but it has been a dream for much longer than that. They opened the retail area in the summer of 2010.
