After you are done exploring you may want to take a drive across the Bridge to Wisconsin as well, taking note that the next river bridges are about 30 miles north and about 30 miles south of Wabasha. In early SPRING the ice on the river is breaking up and it’s a sight to see! Barges start as soon as the entire river is open. SUMMER has its boating, hiking, biking, golf, fishing and bird-watching You can hire river tour guides that will show you the River, eagle nests and great fishing.
