But like any great magician\, The Cactus Blossoms can’t – or won’t – fully explain the illusion they create. \n“Harmonies are a big part of our sound\, but in some ways they’re the part we focus on the least\,” says Burkum. “We put most of our attention and energy into the songs themselves and then the harmonies just happen.” \nThere’s all kinds of magic happening on Every Time I Think About You\, a record that sounds more like a band than any other in the Cactus Blossoms discography\, thanks to contributions from Jeremy Hanson (drums)\, Jacob Hanson (guitar) and Phillip Hicks (bass). “There She Goes” casts its romantic regret against a danceable bop beat\, and the title track is a heart-wrencher about loss and letting go. \n“Even if you don’t set out to write songs with a theme in mind it seems like one usually presents itself\,” says Torrey. “This record keeps returning to the idea of ‘moving on’ — from one place to another\, from people and situations that bring you down\, from loss and grief.”

Entry fee of $100 / boat – two people per boat. $10 big fish pot (optional)\n2. Tournament borders are POOL 4 and POOL 5\, railroad track to railroad track.\n3. Boats will line up in order of paid entry form from Izaak Walton Park. No trailering of boats.\n4. Weigh-in at Ike’s Park 2:30 pm sharp\, no excuses.\n5. Minnesota/Wisconsin rules apply.\nFor more info. Call 651-565-4158\n1. Participants and Eligibility\nA. Contestants must enter and fish as a two-person team.\nB. Each entrant must have in his or her possession\, a valid Minnesota or Wisconsin fishing license.\nC. Tournament hours are from 6:30am – 2:30pm on Saturday July 25 2026.\nB. Contestants who return later than 2:30pm will be disqualified for the day. NO EXCEPTIONS\, NO EXCUSES.\n5. Eligible Fish and Size\nA. Walleye\, channel and flathead catfish are eligible fish species.\nB. The minimum length of walleye must be 15”.\nC. The tournament limit is 4 walleye\, (weigh your best 4 only 2 over 20”) and one catfish.\nD. More than 4 walleye and more than one catfish in the live well at any given time will automatically disqualify your team from the tournament.\nE. Only two walleyes\, over 20” per boat is allowed.\n6. Scoring\nA. Prizes will be based on the most weight of the eligible fish species per two person teams. Total weight of catch will determine placement of the tournament prizes.\nB. Any fish mauled\, mashed\, frozen\, tampered\, injected with water or any other fluids\, containing matter To add weight will result in disqualification at the discretion of the tournament director’s or the weigh-in official.\nC. In the event of ties\, the heaviest\, single fish of the one-day tournament will determine final placing. Catfish is a separate category. If there is a tie\, the prize money will be split up.\n7. Miscellaneous\nA. Other than going to shore for adverse weather\, no two contestant boats may pull up to each other during tournament hours.\nB. All rules have loopholes. It is in the intention of the sponsors to provide an honest sportsmanlike tournament\, in the interest of good sportsmanship\, contestants are reminded that the “spirit of the rule” will prevail in all judgement cases.\nC. Contestants may not have another contestant or non-contestant boat hold a spot for them.
