Widespot is hosting a “double header”, star studded Blues Bash Birthday party Sept. 26th!
Come celebrate Spike Stephan’s 60th Birthday with the Widespot, Saturday, Sept. 26th.
Our first band is a Minnesota band – Jimmi Langemo and the Band of Souls.
They play boogie woogie. They play slow and lonely. They play toe tappin’, deep grovin’ and hard drivin’. They will lift your spirits with contagious energy! The group includes Tom Koche on guitar, Steve “Dancin” Hanson on Bass, Brian Engen on drums and the one and only Mic Zampogna on keyboards.
Next up will be from Shaun Murphy from Nashville, with the finest Blues voice you will hear today. She’s an American blues and R&B singer-songwriter known for her powerhouse singing style. She’s shared a stage with Meatloaf, Little Feat, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins and was backup singer for Bob Seger for many years. She brings with her a star studded band: Tom DelRossi (drums), Tommy Stillwell (guitar), Anthony Saddic (keyboards) and Michael Mean (bass).
This will be a double header packed with Blues and Soul and may run later than 9 pm.
Purchase your tickets online: www.widespotperformingarts.org or at the door. Tickets online are $22, at the door, $25. For questions or more information, contact Widespot at 715-448-0536.
