Some of my favorite memories with my mom are simply being outside, looking up at the night sky. There’s something pretty special about slowing down, stepping away from everything for a few minutes, and seeing what’s happening above us. ❤️
So, if you can get outside — do it!
🌙 Tuesday, September 8 — Moon & Jupiter
Set that alarm a little early! Before sunrise, look to the sky for a beautiful pairing of a very thin waning crescent Moon and bright Jupiter appearing incredibly close beside it. 🌙✨
You won’t need a telescope — both should be visible with the naked eye! Jupiter will look like an exceptionally bright, steady “star” next to the Moon. If you have binoculars, grab them for an even better view.
We’re pretty lucky to have some beautiful places around the Wabasha-Kellogg area to look up and enjoy the sky. Maybe Tuesday morning is your excuse to grab a cup of coffee, head outside and make a memory of your own. 💙
