Here in Wabasha — where the Bald Eagle soars as a symbol of strength, freedom, and resilience — we are proud to recognize a special way our community continues to honor those who served.

Memorial Day looks a little different for everyone.

For some, it means standing quietly during a gun salute, placing flowers at a cemetery, or reflecting on the sacrifice of someone deeply loved and deeply missed. For others, it means gathering with family, attending a parade, sharing stories, firing up the grill, or simply pausing to appreciate the freedoms we sometimes take for granted.

However Memorial Day looks to you, we invite you to spend the day honoring those who gave all in whatever way feels meaningful to your family. ❤️
