Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation (SMIF) is now accepting applications for its Economic Development Grant Program — with funding requests of up to $20,000 being considered! 💰
These grants are designed to strengthen local economies and support initiatives that help communities thrive across SMIF’s 20-county region — including right here in Wabasha County. 🏘️
Eligible applicants include:
✅ Nonprofits
✅ Government agencies
✅ Public institutions
This round will give special consideration to projects that anchor local economic development and may be facing funding losses or operational challenges due to changes in the economic landscape. Both existing work and new initiatives are eligible!
