EVENT INFORMATION
First annual Art Fair Under the Bridge in beautiful, historic downtown Wabasha MN (home of the Grumpy Old Men movies and the National Eagle Center).  Located in Heritage Park, 257 Main Street W, which is a stones throw from the mighty Mississippi.  Up to 30 artist booths with food, beverages, and activities for the kids.  The sponsoring organization is the River Junctions Arts Council which has provided programs and activities supporting fine arts in the area since 1979.  RJAC is excited to offer this inaugural art fair as another program to highlight the fine arts in our community in addition to our very successful and long running summer concert series (held in the same park), children theatre, talent shows, etc.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Artist Information: Located in Heritage Park in downtown Wabasha, MN.  Activities attract locals and tourists from local large cities in MN (Rochester, Twin Cities) and Wisconsin.  There are up to 30 booths available.  There will be free parking for the artists and convenient drop off/pick up access.  Awards for fan favorite, best display, and best in show.

Requirements: Completed application, application fee ($25), at least 5 images (four images of current work and one booth image), and booth fee ($100)

Important dates for artists: Application deadline is July 15, 2025, jury results emailed on July 23, 2025 for nvites and wait list, deadline to accept and purchase booth space is July 31, 2025, last day of cancellation with 50% refund is August 15, 2025.

Categories: We strive to include quality and unique work in all categories.  Our goal is to include artwork that is accessible to a diverse buying audience and available in a variety of price points.  No sell through items.  The artist attending the fair must handcraft all work.

Jury process: The slots are filled through a competitive jury process based on the jury score.

  • Each artist is required to submit a total of five (5) images (four images of current work and one booth image). All work to be exhibited must be represented in the images. Each of the four images should feature individual pieces that accurately represent the body of work to be exhibited.
  • Artists may apply once per category. Collaborating artists (defined as “Artist Partner” on ZAPP™) may apply to participate at the event, but only joint work may be shown and sold and both artists must be present for the duration of the event. Both names must appear on all application materials and both artists must contribute to the creation of the art pieces.

Sponsoring Organization – River Junctions Arts Council.  Since 1979, our Mission is to provide programs and activities in the fine arts for children and adults in the Wabasha-Kellogg area, which includes the junctions of the Chippewa, Zumbro, Buffalo and Mississippi Rivers.
