Cori Kennedy from The Voice to Kickoff WideSpot’s 17th Season

Cori Kennedy, from West Concord, Minnesota will headline Widespot’s 1st annual benefit concert and online auction on September 19th. The show will kick off Widespot’s 17th concert season. Cori will share her story-driven songs in an intimate solo performance for a truly special evening. Cori was seen on the 28th season of NBC TV’s “The Voice”, where she was on country music icon Reba McEntire’s team and advanced through the knockout rounds.

Cori’s extraordinary range and expressive delivery create an unforgettable live experience, drawing audiences in from the very first note. It’s the kind of show that stays with you long after the evening ends. This concert is graciously sponsored by Interstate Building and Supply of Wabasha.

Widespot volunteers are building a fabulous array of items for your bidding pleasure for their first online auction. The auction will open for online bidding, Labor Day, September 7th and close Sat. Sept. 19th at 5:30 pm, just before the concert.

To add to the fun, two food trucks will be available in the Widespot parking lot. Eagle View Bar & Grill from Minneiska and Oak and Embers Smoke Show from Byron, will be ready to serve. The Widespot bar will also be open, serving wine, beer, water, and soda.

Sept. 7 – Online bidding opens

Sept. 19:
4:30-5:30 pm – Auction items available for viewing
4:30 – 7 pm – Food trucks available, as well as the Widespot Bar
5:30 pm – Auction bidding closes
6-8:00 pm – Auction items available for pick up
6:30 pm – doors open for Cori Kennedy concert
7:00 pm – concert begins

Sept. 20:
1-3:00 pm – Final auction items available for pick up. (Auction items will not be shipped).

WideSpot, the premiere entertainment venue in the Lake Pepin Region, is located in Wabasha, Minnesota’s Broadway Theater at 611 Broadway Avenue in the historic Mittel Schule building. The venue is fully handicapped accessible and features auditorium seating for close 300, onsite parking and a bar serving a variety of beverages.
