Back by Popular Demand: Scottie Miller and Cierra Alise Hill

Wabasha’s WideSpot is bringing Scottie Miller and Cierra Alise Hill back due to popular demand. Miller and Hill joined Widespot in January, 2025 and will return performing songs from their new, fully orchestrated album “Hello Pain”, as well as songs from their poetry release “Carnival Cocoon”. Miller is an award-winning Minnesota-born pianist, singer-songwriter and poet, who, with Hill, who plays both cello and violin, blend cinematic songwriting with roots-driven soul. The duo moves effortlessly from blues foundations into a fresh, indie-folk orchestral sound. Their show will cover everything from blues to New Orleans stride piano, through classical and jazz with emotional storytelling. Scottie and Cierra’s live performances are intimate, powerful and transportive – an evening that feels less like a concert and more like stepping inside a living breathing story.

WideSpot, the premiere entertainment venue in the Lake Pepin Region, is located in Wabasha, Minnesota’s Broadway Theater at 611 Broadway Avenue in the historic Mittel Schule building. The venue is fully handicapped accessible, with auditorium seating for close to 300, onsite parking and a bar serving wine, beer, soda and water. Showtime will be at 7 pm, with doors opening at 6:30.

Upcoming shows include WideSpot favorite, Sue Orfield’s band Balterdash from the Chippewa Valley (Nov 14), and Sam Miltich and band from Northern MN (Nov. 28).
