The Wabasha County Mental Health AWARE Alliance is a multi-disciplinary collaboration dedicated to improving access to and understanding of mental health and substance use services in our community. Our group brings together professionals and partners from across sectors to implement meaningful action steps that build awareness, reduce stigma, and deliver support to individuals and families. By getting critical resources into the community, we aim to strengthen the overall mental health system.
The Wabasha County Collaborative aims to improve social, emotional, educational, and economic outcomes for Wabasha County children, adolescents, and families by reducing risks, strengthening protective factors, and promoting integrated services for those with complex needs. Board members, advisory council members, community members, and other constituents will ensure the Collaborative remains informed on best practices and will coordinate efforts such as shared intake, assessment, care planning, and outcome evaluation.
