The Historic Anderson House is ideally located on Main Street in Wabasha, MN. The front rooms show peek-a-boo views of the Mississippi river and have a spectacular perennial flower garden with ambiance, warmth and cheer. Our Cabin and Downtown Flat give guests the option of staying in a more stylish, contemporary setting with kitchens to do their own cooking.
And finally, our full service RV Park offers guests a quiet, peaceful place to stay as they explore the many attractions of Wabasha and the surrounding area.
Vacation in our rustic lakeside fishing cabins or delightful log cabins and cottages or large group cabins. Bed linens are furnished, but please bring your own bath soap and towels, kitchen soap and towels, toilet paper, garbage bags and cleaning supplies. We ask you to recycle your glass, plastic, paper and aluminum. Small pets are allowed in some cabins, a $10 per day per pet extra charge applies. Seven night stay in cabins or campground earns a 10% discount. All cabin rates are based on two night minimum; mid-week one-night stay is an additional $10 when available. A three-night minimum applies for holiday weekends. Limited camping is available, please call ahead.
Boat launch, gas, and fish cleaning facilities are here for you fisherfolks. Overnight harbor fee for guest’s fishing boat is $10 per night, ramp fee is $8 per launch.

Harbor View Suites, 736 4th St W, Wabasha, has a beautifully quiet setting situated in the small town of Wabasha, MN. Harbor View Suites is located next to Parkside Marina as well as the public Boat Landing at Izaak Walton Park. You’ll find the Mississippi River, Beach Park and Slippery’s Restaurant just a short 2-block walk or bike ride from HV. This listing is one of two Suites adjoined – Please look for Harbor View Pier 1″Sunset” #4041574 listing if you want to reserve the other side. EACH SUITE is fully furnished. The Kitchen area is fully equipped including a dining table for 4. The bedroom area has a queen-size bed and TV while the queen-size blowup mattress may be set up in the living area by the fireplace in five minutes; bedding and towels available. You have a whirlpool, cable TV (DVDs & VCR), gas fireplace/AC. Outdoors you have the use of front & back shared decks with furniture, outdoor grill, campfire ring and log bench swing. There are many chairs and side tables on the deck that can be moved to the yard. Boat slips are available in the beautifully maintained public boat landing next to the property – the best on this part of the River! You will love the friendly people of Wabasha, the shops and restaurants. The National Eagle Center is in Wabasha and well worth the visit! After you are done exploring you may want to take a drive across the Bridge to Wisconsin as well, taking note that the next river bridges are about 30 miles north and about 30 miles south of Wabasha. In early SPRING the ice on the river is breaking up and it’s a sight to see! Barges start as soon as the entire river is open. SUMMER has its boating, hiking, biking, golf, fishing and bird-watching You can hire river tour guides that will show you the River, eagle nests and great fishing. Enjoy AUTUMN during ‘ SeptOber Fest’ which is held every weekend from the second weekend in September to the last weekend in October. The colors on the Bluffs are breath-taking!!! WINTER also provides fun; Coffee Mill Ski area is nearby and the perennial ice fishing right in the harbor, so check out the Grumpy Old Men Festival in February! The River usually stays open where the Chippewa River enters the Mississippi just northwest of Wabasha. This entices many eagles to stay in the area all winter long. Frontenac State Park just north of Wabasha at Frontenac, MN is gorgeous for bird watching or hiking with it s views of Lake Pepin and the trails in the woods. Welcome to The River Nest Bed & Breakfast website. Our B&B is located on the main channel of the Mississippi River, just 1 mile upriver from Wabasha, Minnesota, in beautiful Reads Landing. We are Carol & Bill Dunn, your hosts, and we built this extraordinary place in 2005 as our home and your getaway. Both guest suites afford stunning views of the river and exceptional privacy. For a scenic vacation, relaxation, or a romantic weekend, The River Nest offers the accommodations to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Enjoy the private deck, or relax in the jaccuzi while you watch eagles flying over the river. Each suite has a fireplace, Jacuzzi, and sitting area overlooking the river as well as a private deck or patio. Both have a queen bed, full bath with walk-in shower, refrigerator, cable TV, DVD, free wifi, and separate zone heating and cooling controls (We’re “green” with Geo-Thermal heating and cooling.) The Terrace Suite is wheelchair-friendly.
We deliver homemade treats and coffee to your suite an hour before a FULL breakfast in the main dining room, complete with dessert–just like Grandma Tillie served! Home-grown berries, apples, and vegetables are featured in our breakfasts. You won’t leave hungry!!!
