Ready to embrace winter the Wabasha way? Grab your gear, layer up, and experience Ice Camping in the heart of the excitement during one of Wabasha’s most iconic winter weekends. This year, camping at Ike’s Park puts you right in the middle of the action — nestled between the legendary Ice Fishing Tournament and the always-fun Busch Light Curling. You’ll be just steps away from: ✨ Concessions ✨ Outdoor vendor market ✨ Carriage rides ✨ The beer garden with live music ✨ And more winter fun all around you Whether you’re a hardcore cold-weather adventurer or just want to wake up where the excitement is, we’ve got two ways to camp: 🏠 Big River Resort Enjoy a cozier winter basecamp with access to showers, electric, and sewer (no water hookup). ☎️ Call 651-565-9932 for rates and reservations. 🌨️ Ike’s Park All-in outdoor adventure! When conditions allow, on-ice camping will be available (pending ice thickness), as well as parking lot camping on a first-come, first-serve basis. ⚠️ No power or sanitation services at Ike’s Park. Warm nights, frosty mornings, music from the beer garden echoing off the ice… winter camping never felt so alive.

During this year’s Grumpy Old Men Winter Festival, Scouting America Pack 62 is creating a magical Luminary Trail that connects the festival fun at Izaak Walton Park to the heart of Downtown Wabasha. As the sun sets, the trail will come to life with glowing luminaries lining your path — a little winter sparkle guiding you from the ice-fishing, curling and live music excitement to Wabasha’s warm and welcoming Main Street. Take a stroll, follow the flickering lights, and discover Wabasha’s amazing restaurants, shops, sweet treats, and cozy hideaways waiting just beyond the glow. It’s charming. It’s magical.
