  • Audition for The Sponge Bob Musical – No Experience Needed

Wabasha-Kellogg Performing Arts Center Hiawatha Drive East, Wabasha, MN, United States

🎭 THINKING ABOUT AUDITIONING FOR The SpongeBob Musical? 🎭 We’d love to have you join us this summer! Auditions for SpongeBob the Musical are coming up, and performers ages 8 to 80 and beyond are encouraged to participate. Whether you’re a student, parent, grandparent, or community member, there is a place for you in Bikini Bottom! No theatre experience is necessary. Auditions are simple, fun, and low-stress. All you’ll need to do is sing “Happy Birthday” (or a short song of your choice), read a few lines from the script, and possibly complete a brief vocal range check so we can learn more about your voice. You only need to attend ONE audition date, and most auditions take about 15–20 minutes. You do not need to stay for the entire audition session—just long enough to complete your singing, vocal check, and audition reading. Already filled out the interest form? Great! Haven’t filled it out? That’s okay too! You can still come to the audition and complete the necessary forms when you arrive. We also understand that summer schedules can be busy. If you have vacations, work commitments, family events, or other conflicts, don’t let that stop you from auditioning. This production includes a wide variety of roles and opportunities, and we will do our best to help everyone find a place in the show. 📅 [...]

  • Nathan Graham

Heritage Park (Under The Bridge) 257 Main St W, Wabasha, MN, United States

When you think of a singer-songwriter, who comes to mind? Nathan Graham says it probably isn’t somebody who looks like he does, and he wants to change that. Born and raised in Chicago, Graham meshes South Side Blues with Nashville Americana, beginning his career backing blues singers at famous haunts like Buddy Guy’s Legends and Kingston Mines. He spent a decade as a guitar-for-hire before picking up a mic to tell his own stories on the stage. Soulful and steady, Graham’s music offers a raw introspective of the human condition that’s both painful and comforting. His guitar conveys heartbreak, lyrics tell stories of regret, but his rich vocal delivery offers the remedy. Having brought his songs on international tours with both major label and indie acts, Graham is challenging the notion of what it means to be a singer-songwriter. He’s driving inclusivity within the genre, and he hopes to evoke a sense of understanding in the process. “I’m writing about universal experiences,” he says. “I’m writing music to connect my story to yours, show you all that we have in common, and maybe help both of us feel less alone.”
