This Valentine’s Day, The WideSpot welcomes jazz trumpeter Jeff Bordes for his Wabasha debut, bringing a show that blends romantic ballads with the joyful spirit of Mardi Gras. Expect a night that’s tender, funky, and full of New Orleans flair. Bordes, a nationally touring artist known for fiery horn lines and soul-soaked performances, create a sound that brings together blues, brass, and heart. His WideSpot premiere will feature sultry love songs, second-line grooves, and music that invites you to slow dance one minute and let loose the next. He’ll be joined by Driftless Region favorites Sue Orfield (sax), Faith Ulwelling (vocals), and an all-star rhythm section — a powerhouse lineup ready to fill the night with jazz that swings, swoons, and celebrates love in all its forms.
