Jeni Grouws is branching out to Americana Music with her band at WideSpot on Saturday, November 8th. The co-founder of the wildly popular Iowa Blues outfit, The Avery Grouws Band, is taking the night off for a quieter, more heartfelt show. You’ll hear echoes of Lucinda Williams and Bonnie Raitt at this concert.
Listeners should expect heartfelt lyrics, fine melodies and a captivating voice at the WideSpot show, along with the debut of some new songs, intimate acoustic moments and Jeni’s great sense of humor. Jeni, who has ties to the Wabasha area, has recently been enjoying a songwriting residency in Omaha, Nebraska at The Music House, where she’ll be working until May of 2026. She’s still fronting the Avery Grouws band in shows throughout the seven-state region.
Tickets for any (or all!) shows are available at www.widespotperformingarts.org or at the door on the day of the show (cash only at the door, please). Questions may be directed to 715-448-0536.
