    This Valentine’s Day, The WideSpot welcomes jazz trumpeter Jeff Bordes for his Wabasha debut, bringing a show that blends romantic ballads with the joyful spirit of Mardi Gras. Expect a night that’s tender, funky, and full of New Orleans flair. Bordes, a nationally touring artist known for fiery horn lines and soul-soaked performances, create a sound that brings together blues, brass, and heart.     Widespot Performing Arts Center is thrilled to kick off their winter season with Minneapolis band, Lone Rock Bride Jan. 24th Lone Rock Bride, led by singer-songwriter Emma Fisher, is fresh off the release of their debut album, Rosette. Taking inspiration from country luminaries spanning from Loretta to Lucinda, their music marries narrative-driven songwriting to a wall of all-country sound, pairing rock rhythms with soaring fiddles and steel guitar twang. With "a talent for memorable melodies and well-crafted lyrics" (MPR), Fisher's songs tell the stories of poets, pioneers, drifters, and dreamers.
