The National Eagle Center is a tourist must-see and top Minnesota attraction that offers a unique viewing experience that brings visitors to within a few feet of these majestic raptors without any barrier in between. You can learn about eagles while standing right next to them – an unforgettable experience unlike any other!

Located in Wabasha, Minnesota, the National Eagle Center is home to several non-releasable Bald Eagles and a nesting place for hundreds of others who come for the winter.

Whether you wish to see these beautiful creatures up close, observe them in their prime habitat, incorporate their research into your own teachings, or donate to support their mission, they have a way for you to get involved.

Local Giving Campaign

The Wabasha-Kellogg Area Community Foundation’s Local Giving Campaign is now underway. Donation forms have recently been mailed, and every contribution helps support friends and neighbors in our community who are facing difficult circumstances. If you have not yet received a form, you can pick one up at a local bank or call 651-564-1133 for more information. We encourage you to take a few moments to complete your donation form and give to these organizations. Most importantly, 100% of your donation goes directly to the organizations you choose.

Now in its 9th year, the Local Giving Campaign continues to make a meaningful difference in Wabasha-Kellogg. Your generosity helps strengthen the programs and services that make our community a better place to live, work, and play.

2026 Summer Eagle Viewing River Cruise Schedule Set

The summer eagle viewing river cruise schedule is set for 2026 and this year we are excited to announce that we will be cruising with both Winona State University and Treasure Island Resort & Casino! This season will offer a total of 11 cruises, including two kid’s cruises on July 24th and 25th at the Center in Wabasha!

The first cruise will be on Saturday, May 23th aboard the Cal Fremling in Winona, MN. We will also be a hosting an early fall cruise aboard Treasure Island’s Spirit of the Water on Saturday, September 26th in Welch, MN.

These award-winning cruises last two hours, feature live wildlife viewing and interpretation, expert Q&A, and are wheelchair accessible. Pricing is $60 for members and $75 for non-members. Check your calendar and join us on the river!

Outdoor concerts! Check out our great line up for this summer! We have bands of all genres: folk, country, rock, R&B, soul, indie, country.
River Junctions Arts Council (RJAC) promotes arts related activities to enrich the lives of people in the Wabasha- Kellogg and surrounding areas.
Goodwill donations accepted through “pass the basket” to cover cost of bands and royalty fees. Enjoy food vendors and local restaurants before and after the show!
