You're invited to the National Eagle Center's Rotary Day on Friday, May 31, 2024 in the Eagle Capital of America, Wabasha, MN! All day admission is $15 and includes access to the Eagle Center and Bald EagleProgram (Eagle Center Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
Wabasha Athletic Complex Grand Opening to Feature Saint Paul Saints Spotlight Games The City of Wabasha and the Wabasha Athletic Complex Steering Committee are excited to invite you to the Wabasha Athletic Complex Grand Opening. The Wabasha Athletic Complex Grand Opening will take place on Friday, May 31st from 4PM to 7PM. The grand opening event will include Saint Paul Saints Spotlight Games for Falcon Youth Baseball Association and the Wabasha-Kellogg Summer Softball Association. The Saints will be bringing their show on the road, from the public address announcer and organist to their between-innings promotions and mascot Mudonna. According to Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager, “We do many events in the community during the year, but this is one of my favorites. The look on these kids’ faces when Mudonna is running around their ballpark, or their parents are taking part in a promotion is priceless. These Spotlight Games are a staple of what the Saints are all about.” Pregame festivities will include a welcome and donor recognition from Mayor Emily Durand, ribbon cutting ceremony, American Legion and VFW Color Guard ceremony, and performance of the National Anthem. Pure Country WPVW 99.7 and KLCH Lake Hits 95 will be broadcasting live from the Wabasha Athletic Complex. Cabin Coffee and Indigo Acai Bowls will also be on site with items available for purchase. Kevin Kling & Simone Perrin will grace the stage at WideSpot, 611 Broadway Avenue in Wabasha. Renowned storyteller Kevin King is joined by theater actress, composer, vocalist and accordionist Simone Perrin. The Wabasha Riverboat Days Committee is looking for the new Miss Wabasha Royalty for 2024-2025. The committee is inviting girls entering 8-11 grades in the fall of 2024. To be eligible contestants must have a Wabasha address or her parents must be members of the Wabasha-Kellogg Chamber of Commerce. The candidates will be judged on a short essay, academic achievements, community involvement/extracurricular activities and an interview. Learn More!

This year’s event with go to support Neil Hedquist’s Wabasha-Kellogg Fabrication and Engineering, Basic Auto and Small Engines department! You have two ways to support this group of young Wabasha Kellogg car guys and gals: $20.00 to enter your vehicle with a portion of your entry fee donated to Mr. Hedquist’s classroom to purchase tools and equipment, OR $15.00 to enter your vehicle with the donation of a tool for their shop!
