    This interactive traveling exhibit emphasizes American Indian sovereignty as an ongoing continental reality. Learn from Dakota and Ojibwe Nations' new and innovative ways to create community, build sustainable systems, and relate to one another. Each hour long class is an invitation to step into movement at your own level. Movers of all levels are invited and encouraged. Come dressed in comfortable clothes. Most practice barefoot.     Are you interested in being part of SpongeBob the Musical this summer? Join us for a series of fun dance workshops designed to help performers build confidence, learn new skills, and get a head start on the movement and choreography that may be used in the production. These workshops are open to everyone ages 8 to 80 and beyond who is interested in theatre, dance, or participating in the show. No previous dance experience is necessary. Whether you are a seasoned performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, these sessions are a great opportunity to learn, move, and have fun. Participants will explore basic dance techniques, musical theatre movement, and choreography inspired by the exciting world of Bikini Bottom. Along the way, you’ll learn more about musical theatre, meet other performers, and gain confidence for auditions and rehearsals. The workshops will be taught by Claire Penning, choreographer for SpongeBob the Musical. Claire has an extensive background in dance and movement and has been choreographing productions at Wabasha-Kellogg for the past five years. Her energetic and supportive teaching style makes these workshops a great experience for performers of all skill levels. There is no cost to participate, and attendance is completely optional.     Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with the Wabasha County Historical Society on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 1 pm at the Broadway Theater for “Soldiers of the American Revolution.” Presented by experienced educator Arn Kind, this engaging living history program features Revolutionary War uniforms, artifacts, storytelling, and audience participation to explore the life of a Continental Soldier in George Washington’s Army. Through hands-on demonstrations and interactive drills, attendees of all ages will gain a deeper appreciation for the struggle and sacrifice that shaped the nation.
