She describes the genre of music she creates as “tender bubble grunge” which aims to describe the marriage of her soft vocals alongside a grungy backing band. Hiroko draws inspiration from themes of death, rebirth, social justice, and girlhood.

Each hour long class is an invitation to step into movement at your own level. Movers of all levels are invited and encouraged. Come dressed in comfortable clothes. Most practice barefoot. On their latest release, Every Time I Think About You, brothers Jack Torrey and Page Burkum, aka The Cactus Blossoms, once again prove themselves to be among the most adept – and distinctive – modern practitioners of that magic.
