    Capital Sons is a melody and guitar-driven rock band from Minneapolis that plays original songs — no fluff or gimmicks. For more than two decades, Capital Sons has seamlessly blended their diverse musical influences into a high energy and substantive mix of pop-rock. The band members — Karl Obermeyer on lead vocals and guitar, Keith Raney on bass and vocals, Cy Dodson on lead guitar, Walter Bauman on drums, and Jesse Mueller on keyboards — have earned a reputation as an original and expressive band making a mark on the Twin Cities and beyond. Citing inspiration from bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Replacements, The Rolling Stones and Pearl Jam, Capital Sons puts their own modern rock signature on every one of their original songs. Capital Sons was voted Hardest-Working Band by industry professionals and peers for the 2020 Everything Minnesota Music Honorees. The band regularly performs live at bars and festivals throughout the Twin Cities and upper Midwest. Since the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled EP (2005), Capital Sons has also garnered generous airplay on 89.3 The Current, 93X Loud and Local, and 93.5 Rock It FM.

  • Labor Day Weekend Super Series Rd 9 Presented by Ryans Siding & Windows

    Spring Creek MX Park 63633 298th Ave, Millville, United States

    Flushing air-conditioned restrooms and Potable water for filling your tanks Playground area with swing set, volleyball and basketball. Trout fishing in a registered trout stream and a sandy beach to cool down in at Spring Creek. Bring your own fire pit for small campfires that are permitted on most weekends (except on Pro weekend). Fire wood on sale at Front gate for $5 a bundle, (Subject to availability). Grills are okay for cooking food. Races announced from the 1st turn Announcer Tower and broadcast on 107.9 FM. With the addition of the AT&T Cell tower 1/4 mile away we can now offer great cell phone coverage.

    Join Miranda and Jacque for Second Saturday Nia! At the Happiness at Lark Toys at 10-11am $15/class Nia incorporates Martial Arts, Dance Arts, and Healing Arts, using 52 easy-to-learn moves. Each hour long class is an invitation to step into movement at your own level. Movers of all levels are invited and encouraged. Come dressed in comfortable clothes. Most practice barefoot. We eagerly look forward to sharing this hour of movement each month, and every time we feel terrific all day afterwards.
