    This Valentine’s Day, The WideSpot welcomes jazz trumpeter Jeff Bordes for his Wabasha debut, bringing a show that blends romantic ballads with the joyful spirit of Mardi Gras. Expect a night that’s tender, funky, and full of New Orleans flair. Bordes, a nationally touring artist known for fiery horn lines and soul-soaked performances, create a sound that brings together blues, brass, and heart. His WideSpot premiere will feature sultry love songs, second-line grooves, and music that invites you to slow dance one minute and let loose the next. He’ll be joined by Driftless Region favorites Sue Orfield (sax), Faith Ulwelling (vocals), and an all-star rhythm section — a powerhouse lineup ready to fill the night with jazz that swings, swoons, and celebrates love in all its forms. This year, we’re excited to announce our official Grumpy Old Men Festival Grounds on Wabasha’s West Side, bringing everything together in one epic winter hotspot! From fishing and curling to live music, food, drinks, and shopping, you’ll find all your favorites in one convenient location. Our outdoor Vendor Market will run 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Izaak Walton Park, giving shoppers the perfect spot to explore local makers and winter must-haves. Your booth will be located: 🎵 Just outside the Live Music Tent 🧊 Right next to Busch Light Curling 🎣 A short winter stroll from Parkside Marina, home of the 33rd Annual Grumpy Old Men Ice Fishing Tournament Talk about prime festival real estate! Each vendor space is 10′ x 10′ (no electricity available) and cost $50.00 each.
