    Join Miranda and Jacque for Second Saturday Nia! At the Happiness at Lark Toys at 10-11am $15/class Nia incorporates Martial Arts, Dance Arts, and Healing Arts, using 52 easy-to-learn moves. Each hour long class is an invitation to step into movement at your own level. Movers of all levels are invited and encouraged. Come dressed in comfortable clothes. Most practice barefoot. We eagerly look forward to sharing this hour of movement each month, and every time we feel terrific all day afterwards.     February 14th Doors Open @ 6:30pm Showtime @ 7pm Minnesota’s Broadway Theater at 611 Broadway Avenue in the historic Mittel Schule building This Valentine’s Day, Wabasha’s WideSpot Performing Arts Center becomes the northernmost stop on the Mardi Gras parade route! February 14th, California based jazz trumpeter and showman, Jeff Bordes brings his New Orleans inspired revue to the Widespot. This show offers a collaboration of Bordes and Driftless Region favorites, Sue Orfield (Tenor Sax) and Faith Ulwelling (vocals) accompanied by local drums and bass artists. Together this group blends lush romantic ballads with the joyful spirit of Mardi Gras. Expect a night that’s tender, funky and full of New Orleans flair bringing together blues, brass and heart.     This Valentine’s Day, The WideSpot welcomes jazz trumpeter Jeff Bordes for his Wabasha debut, bringing a show that blends romantic ballads with the joyful spirit of Mardi Gras. Expect a night that’s tender, funky, and full of New Orleans flair. Bordes, a nationally touring artist known for fiery horn lines and soul-soaked performances, create a sound that brings together blues, brass, and heart. His WideSpot premiere will feature sultry love songs, second-line grooves, and music that invites you to slow dance one minute and let loose the next. He’ll be joined by Driftless Region favorites Sue Orfield (sax), Faith Ulwelling (vocals), and an all-star rhythm section — a powerhouse lineup ready to fill the night with jazz that swings, swoons, and celebrates love in all its forms.
