The Soul Train is a mutli-genre band established 2020 during a time the when world was brought to its knees by a life changing pandemic. Our love of music brought and kept us together as we realized our contribution to the healing of the nation could be through covering some of America’s favorite tunes spanning some of the most influential decades of music 60s to current times. No matter the age we have a little something for everyone. Our musical talent is represented by our new 11 piece ensemble traverse decades as we most recently added an outstanding horn section and we just love when our music friends share their talent on stage with us anytime. Paint like Bob Ross with Julie Fjetland Join Julie, a Certified Bob Ross Instructor, as she guides you step-by-step through the process of creating this beautiful scene on a black canvas on Saturday, August 23rd at 10 AM at Pioneer Campsite, Wabasha, MN. She will explain how to prep your canvas, load your brushes, and the brush strokes needed to complete each step, then you will have time to work on your painting as she comes around to help and answer any questions you may have. This is a wet-on-wet oil painting technique that anyone, 12 years or up, can do if you are willing to step out of your comfort zone and just give it a try. No experience necessary.
